Mavens Overview
The Bellagio Hotel defines the current Vegas standard of understated luxury. The lobby contains the famous Dale Chihuly glass sculpture in the ceiling, and is adjacent to the Botanical Gardens. A high staff to guest ratio helps to ensure a level of service one would have thought improbable at a resort with 4,000 rooms. All guest rooms receive twice daily housekeeping service.
The rooms have recently been redone, with the original beige color scheme updated to sage greens and dark woods. A marble foyer greets you as you enter the room. The beds, which have enough throw pillows to satisfy a small harem, are triple sheeted, and receive rave reviews. The bathroom is marble encrusted and includes separate soaking tub and glass enclosed shower stall.
The rooms on the front side of the hotel have great views of the fountain show, which most guests feel are well worth their premium rates over non-view rooms. Rooms in the newer Spa Tower, contain the remodeled Spa and is adjacent to the pool area.

The rooms are a little smaller than I care for, but I have stayed here a number of times regardless. I usually stay at Palazzo.
Yes, expensive, pay your money and experience Vegas as never before, probably the best hotel in Vegas.
I do not want to love the Bellagio, but i do. I have stayed here four times and each time I promise myself to try another hotel. I just get lured back in by those dang fountains. It is definitely worth splurging for a lake view.
The bathroom was spectacular, super deep bathtub. Really high end bath essentials, even included hair spray and sewing kit.
We had a member of our party in a wheelchair and she said that the disabled room was the best she had ever stayed in She could literally wheel her chair into the bathroom and transfer herself to the shower seat.
If I could get away with it, I would take the Bed and everything on it, the throw pillows, sheets, covers. I never had such a great night sleep.
The bed was super-comfy, the bathroom was gigantic, and the staff was very courteous.
As always, there are some Unhappy Campers.
We dragged, rolled, and carried our luggage miles from the parking structure to the lobby to be treated as though we were part of a cattle call...Beware! The in room internet fees are $14.99 for 24 hours...I wanted to use the gym, only to find a daily $25 fee.
The sound proofing, as another guest has said, is not the best between rooms, however I still give the hotel a good review because the location is great and housekeeping is impressive.
If your idea of the perfect hotel includes a bathroom you can tell your neighbors about, then this place is for you.
